Prisoner of conscience on the brink of death

The prisoner of conscience Orlando Zapata Tamayo, who takes several weeks on a hunger strike to demand their rights in prison, remains very high in the prison hospital Combinado del Este, on the outskirts of Havana.

His mother, Lady in White, Reina Luisa Tamayo Danger, moved from eastern Cuba to Havana, where Radio Marti has informed that "your child's health worsens and there is a new disease and a new complication".

Zapata Tamayo now depends on artificial respiration to survive. "I think we're going to lose Orlando Zapata. I think we lose", lamented Reina Luisa Tamayo.
