The popular Cuban blogger Yoani Sanchez, who publishes the blog from Generación Y, warned on Thursday during a discussion in the European Parliament that repression "going over" on the island.
Sanchez, who participated in the videoconference from Cuba, said that his country alternative bloggers are a “target of the political police”.
"Bloggers are stigmatized socially, physically harassed and even imprisoned," Sanchez said in statements reported by EFE.
