Shakira denounces repression in Cuba

Today, the popular singer Shakira deplored the repression in Cuba, supported the Ladies in White and demanded the release of Cuban political prisoners by sending a notice to the also singer Gloria Estefan.

"Today I join the call by Gloria Estefan in support of white women, true heroes of our time, standards of courage and female victims of repression and violation of human rights in Cuba," said the Colombian singer.

"May this cry for freedom of political prisoners and respect human rights into the heart rise of tyrants and that this cry sow seeds of freedom in all the world's youth, because justice depends elllos" ends saying the note sent by Shakira.
